Deirdre and Brad! (Sneak Peek!)

**Side note regarding the "sneak peek"** When I went to start uploading images to the blog from this wedding I realized that I had marked 201 images as "to be blogged." (Beautiful bride, handsome groom, beautiful San Antonio Mission, fabulous reception...... OF COURSE I had 201 images!!! ) So...... I decided that I should put up a little "sneak peak" tonight (I promised Deirdre!) and re-edit down the images for tomorrow morning! April and Todd are Engaged!

So I think that, without a doubt, I have the most wonderful job in the world! I have the honor of photographing couples on the happiest days of their lives and I *love* every minute of it! Each couple is fun and unique and I always love when we have the opportunity to have an engagement session. I always HIGHLY recommend engagement sessions to my couples (all of my packages include one), as it is a great time for brides and grooms to get used to me taking their photos, and of course even MORE fun is that I get the chance to get to know them! It's like reading a romance novel... I get to hear the story of how they met, what they love about each other etc. and it always makes me want to come home and kiss my husband! :-) Well... this engagement session was one of the sweetest ones ever! They started off the session warning me that they don't really like to have their pictures taken, but by 5 minutes in they were workin' it like pros! The way that Todd looks at April just makes me melt... He is over the moon in love with her! :-)
Thanks Todd and April for being such a sweet couple... I hope you enjoy the images! Can't wait for the wedding next month!

Fun with the "C" Family!

I had a fabulous time with the "C" Family! It was such a joy to capture all of the fun this family was having together! Although it is always nice to have a great posed photo, it is the more "candid" shots of this family that I love the most. I loved being a part of their laughter and happiness that day! Thanks for such a wonderful session, enjoy the images!

The celebrations this day were in honor of Grandma's 80th Birthday.... Happy Birthday to a fabulous lady!
